Alias: Wade Slimmins Age: 19 (in 2003) Place of birth: Chicago, IL Current Residence: Beckley, WV Email: wade@wetpaintfilms.com |
| Bike’s: Broken Proflex 656, Trek Bruiser (see pictures), K2 Razorback grassroots factory team (see pictures) Years biking: since I could pee standing up. But seriously, its been nonstop biking since I was about 12. First bike: Red Murrey that got beat like a redheaded stepchild in K-mart. Favorite trail: So many to choose from… Probably going from Psycho Betty’s Revenge to Bob’s Option in Jim Thorpe, PA. Gnarliest thing you’ve ever done on a bike: ahh, this is a tie between a 14 drop/25 foot gap, and being the first one to ever make it down “The Mother” and doing it on a proflex 656 non the less! Dream place to ride: Definitely British Colombia Favorite conditions to ride in: I must admit that thunderstorms give me a huge rush. But late night rides rock as well. Favorite pastimes (besides biking): Anything extreme (snowboarding, rock climbing, rafting, backpacking), hopping trains, getting kicked out of the mall, just hanging out with my good friends. Future goals: Complete college and find the camp that God has out there for me to work at. I definitely am looking forward to making a career out of working for the Lord and loving every minute of it. Also, I would love to continue to compete in a few races a year. I’d love to continue to heighten my downhill skills and keep pushing the limits of my abilities. If I could be sponsored by any company it would be: Mountain Dew!!! Haha, think about the perks! Bands that make you want to hit the trails: Juliana Theory, Taking Back Sunday, The Anniversary, Yellowcard, and Thursday are just a few that rock my gloves off. Last show you went to: Some seven local bands played at Soundwaves back home. Who would you like to thank: I definitely have to thank my partners in crime Mark and Tirrell! They have put in much more effort then I have. Love ya guys! I also am thankful for my family for supporting me in so much that I do. I also wouldn’t even be here if it weren’t for God, so a life of thanks for Him. Last words:
I’d like to thank you for making it this far down my bio! I would
also like to ask you to consider your future after death. ‘cause
there is a life after death and its crucial to know where your headed.
(especially if you do the stupid stuff I do)
